Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TheNextRecruit™ ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to create an account and use the Service.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, submit, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant TheNextRecruit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information; harass, abuse, or threaten other users; violate any applicable laws or regulations; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts; or transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content. Usernames that are offensive, impersonate others, or violate these Terms may be removed or reassigned without notice.

6. Free and Pro Plans

TheNextRecruit offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Features and limitations of each plan are described on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan features, pricing, or availability at any time with reasonable notice to affected users.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After your billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the free plan and Pro-only features will no longer be available. Your profile and data will not be deleted.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@thenextrecruit.com and we will review your case.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, and underlying technology, is the property of TheNextRecruit and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Copyright and DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent at support@thenextrecruit.com with the following information:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The URL or location of the infringing material on the Service
• Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will remove or disable access to the infringing content and notify the affected user. Users may submit a counter-notice if they believe the content was removed in error. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by TheNextRecruit. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheNextRecruit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
